Thanks and Giving

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital! We are excited for this time of year and love what it stands for. It is a time for Thanks and Giving! We have seen many people helping raise money for kids in need here at the Lauren Small Children’s Center. The kids here are so thankful and appreciate your giving hearts.

You make miracles happen for kids like Zachary Kent.

In January, Zachary was outside helping his daddy, Chris, with yard-work.  Chris ran inside to quickly grab something and when he returned found Zachary floating in their pool.  His daddy performed CPR and Zachary was rushed the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.  Just days later he was released and has made a full recovery!

With this time of year being full of Thanks and Giving!  Zachary’s parents are thankful for all of the doctors and nurses who cared for little Zachary.
