Join Us in Supporting #ChildrensHospitalsWeek

To celebrate the amazing things being done at the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, we’re inviting you to join us March 5-11 in celebrating #ChildrensHospitalsWeek.

The Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital cares for 28,000 children every year. Donations made to the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital (BMH) Foundation through the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) program help provide state-of-the art, life-saving equipment and assist with capital improvement projects for the Lauren Small Children’s Center. CMN fundraising continues to transform the face of pediatric and neonatal care in Kern County.  The Lauren Small Children’s Center at BMH provides the only hospital based comprehensive pediatric care in Kern County.  The BMH Foundation is proud to be Kern County’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital partner. Funds raised through CMN enable BMH to offer state of the art equipment and facilities to local patients.  One hundred percent of funds raised with this program locally stay right here in Kern County.

Here are four ways you can get involved to help support #ChildrensHospitalsWeek:

1. Wear a Band-Aid. Show your support for the Lauren Small Children’s Center by wearing a Band-Aid of your choice, taking a photo, and sharing it with the #ChildrensHospitalsWeek hashtag.
2. Tune in to CMN Hospitals’ Facebook Live-athon at 7:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, March 7. This two-hour live fundraiser, broadcast from Walt Disney World, will feature inspiring pediatric patients from the U.S. and Canada and entertainment from celebrity guests. Watch live on Facebook at Facebook.com/CMNHospitals.
3. Share the below suggested social media copy on your channels.
