Floyd’s in Shafter Receives Award

Thursday, we had the privilege of awarding the Floyd’s Hardware in Shafter for their fundraising efforts in 2018 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program.  Floyd’s is an Ace Hardware store and partner of Children’s Miracle Network since 1991.  The funds they raise year-round benefit the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.  Thank you to Floyd’s Shafter for your ongoing support in helping make miracles happen for local children!

ABOUT BAKERSFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL’S LAUREN SMALL CHILDREN’S CENTER

The Lauren Small Children’s Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital cares for 37,000 children every year.  Donations made to the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital (BMH) Foundation through the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) program help provide state-of-the art, life-saving equipment and assist with capital improvement projects for the Lauren Small Children’s Center. CMN fundraising continues to transform the face of pediatric and neonatal care in Kern County.  The Lauren Small Children’s Center at BMH provides the only hospital based comprehensive pediatric care in Kern County.  The BMH Foundation is proud to be Kern County’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital partner.
